Oscar Samayoa is a Senior Portfolio Manager at MPEP. Prior to joining the firm in 2026, he worked at Adepa Asset Management, where he was responsible for investment analysis, portfolio management and transaction execution for private equity and private debt funds.
Before that, Oscar spent two years at CPP Investments, managing and overseeing transactions across private equity, real estate, renewable energy, infrastructure and private debt in various European markets. He began his career as an Investment Analyst/Trader and later served as a Portfolio Manager in El Salvador and Luxembourg.
Oscar holds a Master of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of Luxembourg and an Executive Diploma in Corporate Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
Outside of work, he is passionate about Muay Thai and hopes to travel to Thailand one day to train and fully immerse himself in the sport.
