As public markets have fallen sharply in 2022, private equity allocations now represent a larger relative value in overall portfolios. Facing this denominator effect, institutional investors are becoming increasingly selective with new investments.
However, the private equity market has proven to provide great opportunity especially coming out of a crisis, David Schäfer said in an interview with the German institutional investor platform IPE D.A.CH. Investors can seize this opportunity by committing to the asset class in 2023 through the best managers with capital to take advantage of the current uncertainties
