Munich Private Equity Partners has been awarded “Best LP, Global Strategy with Private Equity Allocation <$10 billion” at the Private Equity Exchange Awards in Paris. After winning Silver Awards in 2016, 2018 and 2019, the private equity mid-cap buyout specialist received the Gold award this year.

The Private Equity Exchange Award is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the European private equity industry. A panel of experts selects the nominees for each category before a jury of internationally renowned private equity specialists chose a winner on the basis of, among other things, investment quality and expertise. Munich Private Equity Partners prevailed against eight topclass nominees in its category to win the annual award.
Munich Private Equity Partners is currently raising its MPEP IV program, which provides institutional investors the opportunity to invest in two private equity fund portfolios that have already been built up to a large extent, with a focus on North America and Europe, respectively. To date, commitments have been made to 18 mid-cap buyout funds, which have already completed investments in more than 60 companies. The typical blind pool risk has thus been reduced substantially, giving very good visibility on the high quality of the managers and the underlying portfolios. Investors therefore benefit from rapid capital deployment and participate in a high-quality fund portfolio that has already overcome the typical early J-curve effect.
