Private Equity is an increasingly popular investment option for those looking to diversify their portfolios. The research firm Preqin forecasts that assets under management will be doubled by 2026 – a prediction that is partly based on a survey of institutional investors, in which 95 percent stated that they are planning on increasing their investment allocations in private equity.
